About

All things open, in one place.

OmniOpenCon is a gathering of people, projects and communities involved in all things open: open source, open data, open science, open hardware and open education. We value openness, freedom and sharing, and we want to bring together everyone who shares these beliefs.

OmniOpenCon is free as in free speech and as in free beer: everyone is welcome to attend for free, and all information and resources are publicly available. We follow the example and the spirit of FOSDEM.

The second edition was a three-day event: hands-on workshops on Friday, October 17, and talks on Saturday and Sunday, October 18–19, 2025, at the Central Library of POLITEHNICA Bucharest.

  • Friday, October 17 Day 1 · Workshops

  • Saturday–Sunday, October 18–19 Day 2 & 3 · Talks
